Every Movement Begins With a Story.

The Vision Behind the Movement

Alex Collins believed adversity could become an opportunity for growth rather than a reason to give up. His vision for Adversity Killers™ continues to inspire a movement built on hope, resilience, purpose, and community.

This page is being thoughtfully developed and will soon share more about Alex's life, his vision, and the values that continue to inspire Adversity Killers™.

In His Own Words

“Adversity Killer, that's my brand,

my motto, my mindset, it's the lifestyle.”

The Movement Continues.

Alex left us far too soon, but the mindset he embodied and the vision he created through Adversity Killers continue to inspire us today.

What began with Alex was more than a name or an apparel brand. It reflected something he believed deeply: adversity does not have to define us. How we respond to it can shape who we become.

Today, we have the privilege and responsibility of carrying that vision forward.

Through apparel and storytelling, that work continues. And as the Adversity Killers Academy takes shape, new possibilities are emerging to inspire and support the next generation.

A Legacy That Lives On.

Alex’s impact reaches far beyond the field. His life, accomplishments, and influence continue to be recognized by the communities and institutions that were part of his journey. From February 10 being proclaimed Alex “Budda” Collins Day and the retirement of his high school jersey, to his induction into the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor and the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, Alex’s life and accomplishments continue to be celebrated.

His records, achievements, and accolades are part of the story. Behind them were consistency, perseverance, and heart. But Alex’s greatest legacy is found in the people he inspired and the mindset he left behind—the belief that adversity may become part of your story, but it does not have to determine how your story ends.
